Optimization, Feasibility, and Prototyping
Role: Freelance Design / Digital Modeling / Prototyping Support
Scope: digital modeling, prototype review, technical detailing, and production refinement for table variations
Methods: Rhino, digital modeling, prototype review, technical detailing
This freelance work sat in the design-development stage of the Rockwell Unscripted furniture line: the place where a visual direction has to become a buildable product. The work focused on digital modeling, prototype review, construction details, and the small production questions that determine whether a table can keep the intended look while working at scale.
Optimization + Feasibility + Prototyping
Refined client-provided designs for manufacturing constraints, assembly needs, and profitability without losing the original design intent.
Reviewed construction details, adjusted production logic, and tested a prototype conference table to confirm that the top could accommodate the intended large span between the two leg assemblies.
Bar Height Table
Adjusted the bar-height table for proportion, construction logic, and manufacturing feasibility. Detailed bent metal bracket leg construction.
Balanced the visual language of the collection with practical requirements around scale, stability, assembly, and production.
Conference Table
Tested the conference table at a larger span, focusing on support, assembly, and how the tabletop would behave between the two leg assemblies.
Evaluated the prototype to identify structural risks before moving further into production refinement.
